Designing Web Based Employee Learning Portals

A corporate learning organization purchased multiple e-learning course libraries and needed to provide employees in multiple divisions worldwide access. In addition, employees needed a better way in which to learn about classroom training offerings and register for these classes from any where in the world.

The Solution:

A Web Based Employee Learning Portal was designed and launched worldwide. This portal provides all employees with "one stop shopping" for all their learning needs. Via the portal, employees can access and launch 100s of e-learning courses, read about and enroll in classroom courses, and even access on line learning tools such as a web based 360 system.

Employees are able to search for courses via type (e.g. e-learning, classroom, blended), by category (e.g. change management, managerial skills, etc.), and even by the leadership competency that each course focuses on developing.

A comprehensive marketing and change management campaign was developed and launched to ensure adoption of the portal by employees worldwide.
