Michael Wilkie

Michael Wilkie brings more than 25 years of course development and delivery covering a wide verity of topics to the Horizon Leadership team. His first career was as a professional pilot, where in addition to flying full time, he was the company’s lead training captain responsible for complying with FAA mandated training events. He then spent ten years in GE first delivering Six Sigma training globally then six years as a Performance Development Manager. He has a lively engaging delivery style that encourages and supports active participation.

Michael has delivered a wide array of professional skills classes. He also developed and co authored many courses to meet specific business identified needs.

Michael says that his greatest source of satisfaction is helping people uncover potential that they did not know that they had, and then helping them to realize that potential.

In addition to traditional classroom instruction, he has experience in meeting facilitation, Work-Out facilitation, teambuilding, team intervention/conflict resolution. He also enjoys one on one leadership coaching.
