Kathleen is an experienced talent management professional who began her career in sales in the airline industry. She was responsible for negotiating corporate and travel agency agreements as well as sourcing new business.

Combining her passion for training with sales experience, Kathleen became the Sales Training Manager for Continental Airlines in Houston, Texas. She was certified in multiple sales and management curricula.

Migrating from the travel industry to financial services in 1994, Kathleen moved to New England where she became the Director of Sales Education with American Express. She collaborated with the Forum Corporation to design, develop and implement a Global Sales Training curriculum. She was a master certifier for a number of programs and traveled extensively, international and domestic, certifying and facilitating training to sales professionals and leaders.

During her tenure at the General Electric Company she was responsible for leadership and organizational development (talent development, 360 assessment, coaching, facilitation). She was a member of the Advanced Leadership and Facilitation Network, a cadre of hand-chosen coaches/facilitators that completed extensive training and worked across company boundaries. It was at this time she earned her Masters degree in Training and Development from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Kathleen joined Fidelity Investments in Boston, Massachusetts where she held a number of Human Resources, Talent Management and Learning & Development roles. Most recently she was Vice President of Talent Management for the Personal and Workplace Investments Company. In this role she was responsible for aligning the talent management strategy with business goals and objectives. Her unique skills include: custom design and facilitation of timely, business-relevant talent management solutions, partnering with organizations to assess and evaluate development needs and solutions to maximize the impact of time and money invested. Kathleen has the courage to push individuals and groups to meet their full potential.

Kathleen has led numerous strategic initiatives such as:

  • Create talent management strategy. Align talent management processes with business strategy to retain, develop and engage employees.
  • Design, develop, and deploy leadership development and sales learning systems.
  • Define succession management processes, implement and facilitate talent review and succession management workshops.
  • Assess leaders using 360 assessments, interviews, business results and employee engagement data.
  • Coach senior leaders, partner to create and implement individual development plans.
  • Master certify facilitators in leadership development and change programs
  • Design and implement development planning processes
  • Design and facilitate business strategy meetings and team workshops
  • Design and lead new leader on-boarding programs
  • Design change management systems and tools and enable teams to apply the tools
