Ed Robbins brings more than 25 years comprehensive leadership experience in human resource development, organizational consulting, and training. He has led major initiatives in strategic change, sales force effectiveness, leadership development, and service quality. Ed has worked on consulting and training projects with a wide variety of organizations including; GE, Texas Instruments, State Farm, JP Morgan Chase, Accenture, Department of Justice, Hyatt Hotels, and AT&T.
He was Director of Ceridian’s Training and Organizational Consulting Services for seven years where he led a team of trainers and consultants in delivering a wide range of organizational research, coaching and training services to Ceridian customers.
Prior to joining Ceridian, he was director of training and development for ten years at GE Capital Fleet Services, where he established the training and organizational development function for four acquired businesses. He had the leadership role for implementing Work-Out, CAP, Six Sigma, and Leadership Development. Ed also served as product manager and senior consultant at Wilson Learning Corporation where he was responsible for the Leadership Product offering as well as the quality curriculum. Ed has led many strategic change projects as an internal training director as well as an external consultant and strategic partner. His experience and training has resulted in specialty areas that include:
- Strategic and tactical change management and training, including acquisition integration
- Designing and delivering leadership development programs, strategies, and systems
- Sales force effectiveness
- Designing and delivering performance management programs and systems
- Team Development and Team Building
- Strategic Planning
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education and economics and a Master of Education degree in marketing and education, both from the University of Minnesota.
Ed’s career has always focused on helping and people and organizations grow and succeed. Committed to the enhancement of training and education, he has served as an adjunct faculty member and lecturer at the University of Minnesota, and was co-chair of the Training and Development Council for the Twin City Human Resource Association.
